I'm new to this board, but I've always loved cyberpunk/spacepirate/futuristic shit and i recently decided fuck it i want to learn to draw properly and make something that i can call my own.

the reason that im posting here and not on an art board is that i need some inspiration and idk i just wanted to hear some opinions or maybe just some recommendations for manga or music or whatever

my favourite artist is tsutomu nihei a guy who made manga like blame! abara and biomega

some other ones i love are dorohedoro for its art style and eden-it's an endless world for no reason at all

first picture is a copy of a picture by nihei i made a while back (i cant draw from imagination) and second is example of what id wanna be able to draw for the comic

Keep up the good work chummer, very schway. The fact that you are inspired by Nihei is great, I own all of his Blame! books, perhaps you may want to practice architectural drawings as well.

Another thing I do, is talk to God in #templeos or another similar "random" bot. Let it guide your imagination.

/v/'s /agdg/ and share threads are also a good place for finding good sources of inspiration, music and otherwise. pinterest is very, very good for inspiration, no joke

Some more inspiration, browse itch.io, lot's of weird shit there now. Also look at the upcoming game jams there, lots of genre mashing ideas.
