Turns out she was a volunteer worker for some blog, but Kraut didn't know that. Skeptic community organises some struggle session livesteam debate to 'correct' her, she doesn't show up, so it's a bunch of virtue signallers misrepresenting the things she was saying and caller her a nazi.
Fallout ensues and Kraut goes into hibernation for a few months. Comes back with a series of videos in order to debunk the Alt Right, as payback for all the mean things they said about him, which he totally didn't bring on himself.
He works with a bunch of 'scientists to make these videos for months. They get debunked or mocked within days. He keeps making shitty videos to attack the alt right, or the people debunking him, he keeps getting PLEASE STOP TROLLING BRITBONG, HIS PARENTS ARE BEATING HIM AND HE WON'T STOP SCREAMING AT US IN DISCORD.
His last video got put into limited state/taken down by youtube after it is reported by some Turk. Kraut, Sargon and the skeptics blame the 'alt right.' Turns out it was some autistic Turk who is butthurt at internet nazis that think Turks aren't white and wont let him in the club.
Krauts scientists, some of them at least, resent being misrepresented by Krauts videos and try to give Kraut facts, Kraut cares more about beating the 'alt right' than being factual in his arguments. Scientist gets pissy and releases discord and chat info to guy debunking Kraut.
There is more, but that's the brief history, as I know it anyway. Still tying threads together. I've heard from teachers at the university I studied, that, as a result, very few apply to the chemistry line, and (supply and demand) it is very easy to get in.
Furthermore, how difficult it is to get in also depends on which "gymnasium" you went to. The final scores depends entirely on which you attended (there are even some who, as their main selling point, offer easy grades), and since the universities are only allowed to discriminate based on final grades, you can get in pretty much anywhere if you chose the right "gymnasium".
The difference between universities are also quite remarkable, and only a few are worth bragging about (LTH, KTH, and perhaps Uppsala; if I recall correctly), while the rest are complete crap.
