1. DMCA Title II - ED is a safe harbor just like 8chan;

backups of ED back when sherrod took the original site down should be floating around on the web/on torrent sites, at the very least in text form. When the site was resurrected we made sure to upload archives of that stuff in case something bad happened again in the future. That said if ED went down in its current form I don't think anything of value would really be lost (maybe pictures?). Its been complete shit for years, its changed sysop hands so many times I'm really not surprised it ended up like this. I think its time to let it slip into the void.
