Lol you are just a little baby. Humans got most of their problems millions of uears ago when the population was reduced to only 75-1,000 people due to a mega volcano eruption.

>Were 90s cartoons and comics actually better or is that just nostalgiafagging?
The early 90s cartoons on they were the second coming of their golden age. It happenened thanks to the success of Simpsons and the Ren&Stimpy Show. They success was entertainment for the entire family this means the cartoons had jokes and story that even parents could hook on and watch the cartoon, not like today standards. Many cartoons still age well today.
About the 90s comics they were getting more edgier.

The attempt by the media to sensationalize potential Y2K issues for the sake of selling a news story was literally just a 90's thing. It literally stopped being a concern when 2000 happened.

I'm getting so sick of this "le 90s comics were le edgiest" meme. They were edgy as fuck by the 80s if not earlier.

That's true. Mid 80s are often considered the beginning of the dark age but 90s made a bigger potion of it, and that's when edge hit its peak.
90s was when Superman was killed off and replaced with edgier alternatives, characters with convoluted and angsty backstories were created nonstop (see most new X-Men characters from the 90s), senseless and over the top violence became common in mainstream comics, everyone was an anti-hero, and costume design got retarded with edgy additions like chains, belts, coats and so on.

For comics? With Marvel it came of as them taking themselves to seriously trying to be edgy. Though I mostly remember the Ultimate Spiderman comics.
For cartoons there were still action cartoons back then. That and people trying to imitate the anime art style in the most superficial way possible.

Well there was one with Morrison, Gaiman, Delano, and McKean. It was triggered by Moore's success with The Swamp Thing. Another one was Millar, Ennis, Ellis, and Jenkins. Was there any other? There were Brits working for big two earlier than the first one, but they trickled in more gradually if I remember correctly.

Oh,I'm sorry. When people refer to "British Invasion" and especially the term "Second British Invasion" my mind thinks the context is 60's Rock/Folk music and 80's New Wave.
