I think it lacked foreshadowing and Doomsday rampaging. Here, the league gets in on the action almost from the start while in the comics I think he plows through 3 different teams before the main branch of the
league has a go at it.
>Bibbo's dialogues are pretty faithful to the comics from what I remember.
>Hawkman gets trashed, surprising no one
>Aquaman gets bitch slapped so hard he stays out of the movie until the funeral
>Flash gets slapped by a lucky punch
>Green Lantern tries to show off, and proceeds to get his constructs broken to the point he loses consciousness
>Batman survives by dodgetanking until Doomsday gets tired of putting up with his plot armor and decides to go for some civilians instead
>Wonder Woman survives the longest but in the end is no match
>Martian Manhunter actually counters Doomsday perfectly…. until he lands in an (in)conveniently placed fire that puts him out for the rest of the movie.
>Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Ice, Fire, Guardian, Guy Gardner and that villainess-turned-heroine-that-wanted-superman's-warrior-dick-whose-name-I-cannot-remember-for-the-life-of-me do not appear.
>No Matrix Supergirl (or any Supergirl in that regard) at all.
>Luthor's house arrest is the biggest farce in the entire movie. Also, he dons his Australian Luthor wig at one point.
>Cyborg showcasts his daddy issues and gets destroyed again just like every other tuesday. That character is made to job isn't it?
>Superboy has the Nu52 costume.
We got death of superman and funeral for a friend in this movie, the next one will probably cover reign of the supermen and the return of superman.
