Is she fat?

did you explain to her that there's only so much food we should eat in a day that there's no real point in going for cheap shit?

Seriously, not only does butter taste better, it's healthier. The only downside is spreadability

>The only downside is spreadability

Which is completely negated if you just keep it out on the counter (covered, of course). It keeps for well over a week without becoming rancid.

>Keep it on the counter

It's 106°F during the day where I live. Additionally, I have no AC. I can't keep anything on the counter.

110 here, but a/c is mandatory so it stays a nice 73 all day.

Lucky. I have to go wander the stores and malls from noon to eight just to stay cool.

You seriously don't leave your butter on the counter tho, in winter?

Toasting your shit solves that problem neatly

I live in a country without such a product.

I can buy salted or unsalted(or sunflower or other vegetable-based spread, or margarine).

>>5261

for this do you shred it entirely into a container, then take as you need, or do you take the brick from the freezer, shred what you need, then return the brick to the freezer?

 No.5271>>8216

It's butter combined with some canola oil.

I was imagining that you would shred the whole block and just pull from it like it was hashbrowns.

>>"it's cheaper, honey"

Sounds like my mom, and the mom my childhood friend has, and even another mom i know… fucking modern 1st world moms really even the 2-3rd worlder kids ate better than us here in "1st world" because our moms are heap of shit when it comes to cooking.

My favorite food as a kid was the occasional ordered pizza or burger only maybe once a month not because i was fatty lardass (well i was but…) the alternative was usually something akin to boiled potatoes with gravy made with the cheapest hotdogs you can find with barely any meat content and microwaved frozen veggies for a salad.

>B-B-BUT SON ITS CHEAP ITS NOT LIKE YOUR PARENTS ARE MADE OF MONEY OH LOOK ARENT MY NEW AMBER EARRINGS SO SWEET!! ::3

Fuck you mom, atleast my dad knew how to cook problem was he was a depressed piece of shit (probably because of the food+work+nagging wife) and only started actually making food once me'n my brother were allready gone living on our own.

 No.5292>>5296

wait if its already pretty rigid in the refrigerator couldn't you just shred it then with a cheese grater or something?

 No.5296

>>5292

Refrigerated butter tends to melt in the grater easier.

>>5270

Your call, but I think it is easier to shred as needed. Either a salad shooter or one of those.Olive Garden type cheese shredders.

Shredding a long time in advance should accelerate the spoilage rate.

you can make gravy out of hotdogs?

 No.5812

>>5811

additionally, i think that poor nutrition should be considered child neglect. I get pissed off when I see 4 year old kids weighing twice what they should.

 No.5818>>5821

>>5811

Should be able to make gravy out of any fat.

If the hotdogs have enough fat in them, it should ooze out, add a little flour for a roux, and you're basically gravied.

It'll taste like cheap nitrates and salt and almost nothing else.

Sauce i meant, fugin english i sometimes fuck up words.

Not like it makes it any better though… hotdog sauce brhhh…

 No.5822

No, man, it's OK.

It gave me feels. I figured you meant sauce. Probably minced hotdogs.

>Take mince

>stuff into tube

>cook

>mince again

>cook into liquid

Speaking of fat people, I noticed that 90 percent of the people that bitch about something being unhealthy and fatty are fucking fatasses that aren't even pretending they're on a diet. I've been lectured by my own landwhale of a mother on more than one occasion for indulging in unhealthy shit.

 No.8198>>8199

>>8193

What fat people fail to realize is that fatty foods aren't what is making them fatter, it's foods that are high in carbohydrates and a sedentary lifestyle that are doing that.

 No.8199>>8200 >>8205

>>8198

And it's a lifestyle I know too well myself unfortunately. I hope getting a job and becoming a not-NEET helps me with this particular issue. I will make it, bruh.

 No.8200

>>8199

good luck bro, I just applied at a nearby grocery store, close enough to walk to as well, so that'll keep me moving. I've been poor though, so minimal nutrition + high metabolism = parents asking if I'm eating well. I've definitely lost weight, I can see my cheekbones, which don't look half bad.

 No.8205

>>8199

Getting a job actually made me put on weight again, seeing as I now have all kinds of money to spend on beer and actually good food, rather than RAMEN ALL DAY ERRDAY. Doesn't help that where I work also gives me all the free food I want, basically. I miss being NEET, sometimes.

Did you misunderstand the news?

Butter is completely fine to eat, but it's the lifestyle of the butter eater that might be the cause of mortality.

I mean, look at Paula Deen.
