f89212 No.9428

Some people think its weird that I am still a virgin at 20. Sometimes people pick fun at me for it. But right now I am waiting for God to send me a woman. I do not want to be a fornicator. But I am content if God is leading me down another path, a more holy path. Marriage between a man and a woman is a beautiful and very holy thing. But in these last days it is better to be celibate. Marriage is here for those who cannot control their passions. But we know that the Word of God teaches us all things, including how to control our weak emotions that stem from our body, not our mind. We know that reason is above fleshly things and our appetites. So brothers, sisters, if you must marry then do so! And have an abundance of children like St. Peter! :) But to others who choose the path that Christ lead, and the path St. Paul followed, many blessings to you! :)

Where in the Bible did he tell you that he was?

If it doesn't get to you within 30 minutes does he have to pay for it?

You gotta go out and meet women.

Spoiler alert: Most of them are absolute whores.

The kikes have really done a number on our societies.

Catholic here.

You see, I never understood the whole "marriage is for those who cannot control their passions" thing because I'm sure I read it in the Catechism (although I couldn't find it) that one of the requirements for the act of copulation is that both lovers experience transcendental love for one another i.e. they cannot simply copulate to ease the heat of their passions. Basically, as a man (it applies to women too though), you can't simply go wild and fug the crap out of your wife. If this is the case then surely marriage is not even for those who can't control their passions, it's just for those that want children!

We have flags! :^)

>I never understood the whole "marriage is for those who cannot control their passions" thing

It's based on 1 Cor 7.

<But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

This isn't saying that marriage is only for those who can't control their passions, it's saying that those who can't control their passions ought to marry. There are still those who can control their passions but still marry.

>one of the requirements for the act of copulation is that both lovers experience transcendental love for one another

>cannot simply copulate to ease the heat of their passions

>you can't simply go wild and fug the crap out of your wife

Yet another reason to not be a roman catholic: pharisaical, stoic additions to God's word. When I'm horny, I screw my wife. Sometimes we go wild.

She likes it, I like it, and it's a gift from God.

Here's the link:

One of the implications of CCC 2360 is that you don't seek sexual pleasure for its own sake. You seek sex purely because you enjoy bonding with your partner. Have there been times where you feel you have reduced your partner to a sexual object? When you "go wild" and fug the crap out of your wife, do you feel that this objectifies your wife? Whether or not she consents to this (I doubt you're a rapist) is irrelevant to the matter, I think.

Yes, when penis is in vagina I'm not paying attention to her existential status as a separate person from me and pondering her nature of being an image bearer, I'm having sex.

I hate that we're using feminist terminology, but yes she becomes objectified to a degree. She isn't relinquishing her personhood, but she wants to be handled passionately and even aggressively. This is the healthy romantic dynamic of man and woman. She wants to be submissive, and I want to be dominant.

Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt, no I am not a rapist.

Exactly, this is strange and divers doctrines, and could be works-based salvation since it's an additional requirement for a sacrament which are claimed to not be works-based salvation because they're ex opere operato. Both works salvation and strange doctrines are expressly forbidden by the primary sources, especially St. Paul.

Stoicism is great, and arguably fulfils Christ's command, if you love Me, keep My commandments, in light of Christ as Logos. But, salvation and sacraments are by faith alone and by the work done respectively, lest any man should boast.

You know under Ephesians 5 we shouldn't even be talking about this, but the man and the woman have not power over their own bodies in marriage. The doctrine of consent was invented to pretend that some fornication is okay and other fornication isn't, but consent does matter to culpability for an act of fornication.

Pleeeaze.

ALL sex is unclean, and you're a naïve, repressed virgin to think otherwise.

Not if it's done for procreation, that removes the sin from sex..
