We have flags! :^)
>I never understood the whole "marriage is for those who cannot control their passions" thing
It's based on 1 Cor 7.
<But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
This isn't saying that marriage is only for those who can't control their passions, it's saying that those who can't control their passions ought to marry. There are still those who can control their passions but still marry.
>one of the requirements for the act of copulation is that both lovers experience transcendental love for one another
>cannot simply copulate to ease the heat of their passions
>you can't simply go wild and fug the crap out of your wife
Yet another reason to not be a roman catholic: pharisaical, stoic additions to God's word. When I'm horny, I screw my wife. Sometimes we go wild.
She likes it, I like it, and it's a gift from God.
