actually, the whole system of naming days is a false creation.

Sunday - named in honor of the sun god

Monday - named in honor of the moon god

Tuesday - named in honor of a one handed Norse god

Wednesday -named in honor of Wōden, or Odin

Thursday - named in honor of Thor

Friday - named in honor of Frigg/Freya, wife of Odin

Saturday - named in honor of the god Saturn

accepting this system would be similar to accepting it tomorrow if the days were renamed

Not even close. The days of the week as we know them go back to ancient cultural tradition older than the incarnation of Jesus Christ. The only reason we use the names of Germanic gods in place of the Roman gods (for most of them) is because the Germans Germanized it when they conquered Rome.
