So, basically i'm creating a manga based on the gospel of Luke. I'm planning to put all the verses inside one book, which i think will result in ~200 pages. Pic related is the first page, but i've got another 14 finished pages or so, but i won't post them here obviously because of spoilers lol, but also because i still haven't scanned and edited them yet. Currently working on luke 2, the part where mary and joseph is visited by Simon. Would love to see some suggestions and ideas.and you can ask me anything.and one more thing, is remaking a scene from other manga but different characters considered plagiarism?

I like it and I think it's a great idea. That's the kind of passion project that people enjoy.
My advice is to take very few artistic liberties. Also, Jesus should have short hair given 1 Cor 11:4

ye, so far i've very little artistic liberties regarding dialogue and scenes. But i've been adding some light humor so far, because the mood in the start of the gospel is very light, nothing demeaning or immodest of course. Really the only things with a personal touch is how image some scenes played out, giving a bit of humour here and there. Nothing that really changes the narrative in any way

It's not a manga if it isn't Japanese. Your style isn't even particularly manga-like, or really manga-like at all except that you have the panels go right to left contrary to Western conventions. The difference is because English and other Western languages are written left to right but manga uses the traditional Japanese way of writing in vertical columns from up to down and from right to left.
I'm sorry I can't say anything more constructive based on the very little information you gave. I think you need to figure out some angle to make your comic more than text with illustrations. Comics are supposed to be a medium that combines literary and visual storytelling.

Addition to the above:
Zechariah isn't mentioned to have been a high priest, so he shouldn't wear the ephod. Leviticus contains the relevant laws about the priestly clothing. Having the ten commandments be represented with Roman numbers is also iffy.

That still doesn't look like (and isn't) manga. It looks like an American comic that uses a manga-style layout with right-to-left panel flow and narrow text boxes meant for vertical writing for some reason.
Why do you feel that you need to produce a manga? American comics don't need to be about super heroes and many historically haven't been. There are also European comics, and those aren't nearly as stuck on super heroics.

I really is as simple as that
Manga = Japanese
Manhwa = Korean
Manhua = Chinese
Drawing style isn't sole property of any particular country, and your style doesn't even look that Japanese. Maybe closer to Europe than America, but assuming you're American your comic is by definition American. You don't need to be ashamed of that.
Sound FX on the panels aren't special to Japan unless you're meaning to go full weeb and writing the sound effects in kana. Disney comics for example have a lot of big BANG, BOOM, CRASH, and the like.
