I'm facing an incredibly monumental and shameful disaster, one of my own making. Anxiety attacks are becoming more frequent and intense. I can't do a thing to fix any of the problems in my life; I feel so stupid and useless. I have to carry on as if everything is okay, but I'm so tired and it's becoming more difficult to keep up this pretense. Pray the Lord grants me peace.

I posted this in the /christian/ prayer request thread, but I'll post it here too. A year or two ago I signed up for a bone marrow donation registry, and I just got a call today saying that I'm a potential match for someone in need. It's a ton to take in and I'm kinda on the fence still, I'm just asking that some of you will pray for me so I can make the right call. It's a huge decision to make and there's so much involved; I'll potentially have to travel for up to 3 days to pretty much anywhere, who knows what their hospital will be like, I could be part of the 2% or whatever that have complications that could injure or kill me, the recovery could be agonizing, and I'm just not sure if I'm ready for that big of a commitment at this stage in my life. I'm sure everyone would look at that paper that says you could help someone and say "yeah sign me up, I wanna help!" without a second thought, but it all becomes so real when you get that phone call.
