>Yes, and the Jewish people rejected God.
All the apostles who followed the Messiah were Jews, the many disciples who followed the Messiah through the towns of Judea were all Jews, yet it were the Jewish authorities (the builders) who rejected him.
>Matthew 21:42-44
>Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”
>Yes. He's also the King of Kings.
You must read properly or its meaning will elude you, because the Messiah will rain down the fury of God unto the gentile kings of the earth, it is no blessing for only the Messiah is truly king.
>Revelation 19:15-16
>Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
>The Church is the New Israel.
There is no new Israel, the church is not Israel either, God does not make promises he will not keep but fulfill them as promised.
>Luke 1:68
>Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them.
>To convert to Judaism would be a rejection of the fulfillment of the prophesies of the Old Testament.
There is only the testament, by no means it became old, and by no means a new one was created, for salvation is from the Jews.
>Matthew 5:17
>Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
>Matthew 28:18-20
>Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Even though the many Christians have been baptised with water, it is time for the children of God to be baptised in truth and spirit, for there is no salvation without redemption and you have yet to be redeemed.
