I looked up William H. Kennedy. What does he have to do with baptists? Or what does OP have to do with baptists?
Friend, you might want to pray about the fact you are looking for a motivation to disprove baptists. Is that really wise?

People who only want to glorify themselves sometimes resort to various kinds of "curious arts" like it says in Acts 19:19. These have no part in Christ. The New Testament even says that Satan is transformed into an angel of light, and that his ministers of unrighteousness are false apostles. See 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. It says that the false prophet of the end times will do lying wonders as well. But again, that, and witchcraft and divinations and so on - including sacrificing children to Moloch, and abortionism - has no part in Christ.
In 2 Corinthians 6 it says,
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,"
- 2 Corinthians 6:14-17
So then we should not be placed together with the unclean thing, the false apostles of the Roman Catholic, or from any other variety. These are "deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ", as Paul says in that epistle. We know them by their corrupt fruit, as no corrupt tree can bring forth good fruit. And they are very wicked and corrupt, though they tell people not to pay attention to this fact. Cultist leaders of the various types, such as the Catholic, keep a following by alluring their audience to the various lusts of the flesh, rather than by sound doctrine and preaching out of the word of God. Which is what Paul told Timothy to do in 2 Timothy 4:2. "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." They always want to cover up the word of God instead, when it is brought up, because it is contrary to them.
