>how important is religion in your life?
God is number one in my life. I pray everyday and I read the Bible everyday.
>how much do you sin?
I'm a sinner, I sin everyday. But through the recognition of this is humility achieved and you get beyond your fake self full of passions that don't let you see reality beyond pleasures. As such sin doesn't exist beyond the evil it causes. The goal of the Christian life isn't moral perfection as it is achieving a state of theosis.
You can be the greatest ascetic on the world free of all lust, greed and what not but if inside of yourself there is great pride then you're no better than somebody who's struggling with masturbation. Christianity is not about moral perfection, it's about theosis: being part of the energies of God who is all love. God is all love and when you become part of the energies of God then you act based upon love. When you act based upon the Love of God then you don't sin, as sin is against the love of God because of the harm it causes. If God tells you not to sin it's because it'll harm you or others, either on the short or long term, not because he is some kind of moral fetishist; he knows better about human nature than you. Then, not sinning is not because moral fetishism or puritanism but because you love God and want the best for you and other people just like God wants in his love, so you try to fulfill his commandments the best you can.
>i imagine the regular user here as a religious freak rather than a christian with a regular life
I actually have a pretty regular life with friends and pretty much average stuff happening. Christianity made me understand the mad world out there and be in peace even if out there everything is chaotic. And I'm sure most people here are the same.
That some individuals might do nothing but stuff related to Christianity what makes them look like they can't into something else is okay; it's the same to some people having an exclusive interest in music, philosophy and stuff. And the ones who are true religious freaks just have that kind of autism also present in sjws: they want the world to be like their utopia, this out of a desire to make things better. But in their ardent desire and zeal mixed with a bit of pride and stubbornness they end up being annoying and/or offensive and that turns off a lot of people. Both religious freaks and sjws are the mirror reflection of each other.
And even if people here are religious freaks I don't care. Most people aren't as perfect as they think. The ones who judge others of being intolerant are intolerant in an even more absurd way. I remember those reddit people some years ago complaining about the "intolerant fundamentalist christians who think everything is satanic and judge gays just for being gays", those reddit people who nowadays are part of the crowd that cries "everything be raciss and fascist and white people be evil just because they white". The ones who talk about the pride of others are prideful themselves. Everybody is a hypocrite, humanity as such is lost; Christianity talks about this and gives you both the understanding of why it is like that and how to solve it, and the strength to endure it in your lifetime.
