I pray for God's plan. If the wrath of God comes because of a wicked President, then so be it. If I die in God's wrath against the wicked (and some of the faithful will die) then I pray for the grace to die with a clean soul. Things will be better after the Great Chastisement and more souls will be lead to heaven. That's what matters.
Who's stopping you from enjoying Bach? The Church is good with his music even if he was a Lutheran.
But even then, Catholics have a belief in giving up things just for the sake of creating mental discipline. Like music? Give it up for lent. Like playing computer games? Give them up. That way we don't get too attached for things of this world, and are stronger in resisting temptation.
