Can't speak for Protestants, but Catholic believe that the Blessed Virgin is the true mother of God and is "in a certain way" our co-redemptrix.
She was born without original sin, is forever a virgin. She was free even of venial sin and was taken alive, body and soul together into heaven by God. Thus, she is like Eve, but unlike Eve not only will she not be fooled by Satan, but will crush the head of the snake.

The body of Christ, sacrificed to provide redemption to those that will accept Him as Lord and God and follow his teachings and Church, is not a "simple earthly form".
The concept of rejecting the Body of Christ, the Holy Sacrifice, the Holy Eucharist itself, as just a "simple human form". It is the greatest of ingratitudes.

Christ IS God. Mary is the Mother of Jesus Christ. TRUE GOD and True Man. As Christ IS King, and the Blessed Virgin is His mother, she is Queen.
The Father IS God. The Blessed Virgin is not the mother of the Father
The Holy Ghost IS God, the Blessed Virgin is not the mother of the Holy Ghost.
