One of my friends came out as trans today. She's familiar with Christianity. She was raised catholic. She still considers herself Christian but disregards the church.
I don't really know what to say or do about it. I just know that all of LGBT stuff is against God's will and it's purpose is to tear people away from God and the gospel.
I just don't know what to really do with it. I wish I could help any way. I know it's a horrible sin and I'll compromise with that stance, but it's clear as day that when that's how you respond it'll only make them double down and turn farther away.

I'm not someone that's really into any sort of debates. Either way I don't want to come out all preachy and judgemental to her, and this trans thing's been pestering her mind ever since she was little and since then cemented itself in her mind. Even if I btfo her with facts n logics or something I doubt it'll actually help her. And like most trans folks her mind is in a really rough shape and her life is pretty rough.

Wanting to be a gender other than your assigned one is a mental disorder (or abnormality, if you wish to remain neutral) called Gender Dysphoria.
Most psychiatrists won't tell her that, so his well-being is in your hands. You need to encourage him to continue being male, and accept being male, but crossdress every now and then as a form of fun. It's not sinful to dress a certain way.

If they find a way to continue their transition while honoring God, even better - the two aren't mutually exclusive.
Whether or not you consider 'LGBTQ stuff' to be a distraction from God doesn't preclude others from being able to have both in their lives, right?
I don't understand how sexual reassignment surgery can be any more a sacrilege or distraction from one's relationship with the divine than, say, taking Prozac.

Oh, taking Prozac is a distraction alright. SSRI drugs cause psychological castration and destroy potential for developing as a human being. People are sensitive, but blunting one's emotions should be done under virtually no circumstances. There are other ways of dealing with oversensitivity.
