I have a few of my own.

The question becomes is Pope Frances a bad Pope (and there have been many sinful Popes, no argument there) or is he an Anti-Pope

The answer can be found in any ex cathra pronouncements he made. A true Pope would not contradict any prior infallible Pope, that would mean one Pope was not Pope. I'm not sure of what Pope Francis has said, and I'm afraid to look.

What I do see is that from his unofficial teaching, he is less of the True faith and more of the popular sense of morality e.g. "don't bred like rabbits" and "focus less on abortion".

There once was a time when not only did the Pope not hide the Crucifix from anyone, but a non christian e.g. a Jew, was not allowed to kiss the papal ring and had to kiss the Pope's foot.

The Rothschild loan and the loss of the Papal states was a great victory for the devils.

You would either have to look the other way or have a low view of the role of the pope. In fairness to Catholics there have been a variety of views of the pope within roman catholic church history, all the way from essentially a figurehead to "submit to the pope or be damned".

The trouble with this question today is that you can pick through the historic statements regarding the pope to form the theology you want, kind of like the US presidency.

The Catholic Church worships God, not a Pope.

Not even sure that Jorge is really a Pope; he seems very poorly catechized witnessed by his Pachamama idols, claiming Jesus was fully human on earth, his new sins against Gaia… .

We have two of them, you know. The last Pope that I'm sure of is Pope Pius XII

But the Pope doesn't matter at my pay grade. I go to mass, get the sacraments, read the Bible and study Church teachings.

It has been bad for a long time. Really since Constantine it has been bad. You just have to look past the propaganda.

>>847479

Yes there have always been many undercurrents. Since around the time of the investiture controversy, any undercurrent of thought has been permitted as long as it didn't seem to undermine papal ambitions in any way. This includes printing the talmud for kabbalists to study during the renaissance while burning Bibles wholesale.

And of course, letting the violent go free while burning any people who wants to worship in a regular church setting that isn't polluted by irregularity and idol worship.

Plenty of false accusations have been prepared well in advance for such situations, supposing the people killed were dead and therefore, could not defend themselves from the charges. So in the final judgment, when Christ comes to judge the world, much will be revealed that many people never realized (or never wanted to realize but could have if they simply read the word of God).

Luke 8:17 - "For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad."

>The trouble with this question today is that you can pick through the historic statements regarding the pope to form the theology you want

Yes, it's no different than any other state church that infant-baptizes and changes other things. They can always pick and choose whatever manmade saying sthey want and say those are the authoritative ones.

Exclusively the apostles spoke ex cathedra. Their writings were inspired by God. We have them today in their uncorrupt form thanks to the preservation by God of his inspired word.

Anyone else who attempted was doing so fraudulently, and other writings outside of the specially preserved-by-God Scripture were not inspired by God. They are inherently fallible, therefore, and there is no guarantee non-inspired writings have not been forged, corrupted over time as different scribes added or removed things, and/or gravely misinterpreted (see 1 Peter 1:23-25). Only scripture can be guaranteed not to have been altered this way, see again 1 Peter 1:23-25. Also Isaiah 40:8 from which the apostle Peter quotes from.

People who don't believe in Scripture will start to believe in manmade sayings instead and start to look for ways to get rid of scripture. It is only thanks to God that they have not destroyed it already, because they have certainly tried. For instance, in 1229 they banned all Bibles and tried to burn all non-corrupted copies, but they did not succeed because it still exists today. The KJV is an accurate translation of this original version of Scripture.
