If someone I know, and I have just knocked on wood, someone close to me whom I know, is going to fall ill, and hypothetically, seem like not being able to make it through, I'm talking about the pandemic of course, as there is a nontrivial chance, a very likely one actually that we may find ourselves in situations like these, my question is, how would I go about doing my absolute best to help them move towards Christ or even converting them at such a confusing, late, impromptu and emotional stage for many? I hope what I am asking is not immoral in the sense that it is too early, but with what we have learned, I had better. (ask) I could gift them a prayer rope, I could gift them an icon, I could have this conversation preemptively in my head or simply ask them. one could attempt this through allegory, reminding them of the loveliness of their old town architecture, or their childhood memories in relation to Christianity, etcetera, but I do not know, really. Most of the people who would fall into this category in my life, do not really know I am Christian. Please share your thoughts, and please pray for us all.

Be a good person and be good to yourself as well and do not do what you hate. You will do well to remember this in the situations that come up. Setting a good example invites curiosity, people wonder why you show kindness when you don't have to, and this invokes a spark in them as goodness feels good, and that is the doorway to state why you serve as your Lord spoke of the word of God. Converting those to save yourself is missing the mark. Also, stop sacrificing animals, it is no longer necessary.

I returned to the Catholic faith (never was Catholic, really) because my Research advisor when I was getting my PhD was a devout Catholic, unexpectedly good in every way like a saint, and had a holy aura about himself.

One of the most annoying things is the hypocritical sinner telling you to convert e.g. the child molester who was "saved" and molested me as a child. Setting a good example is a great way to convert, imho

Living by example is a serious measure, and one I'll now contemplate further than I would have without his reply. >>829653 agrees too

Also, apologies for the structuring, I can't write, but my question still stands, do you have any ideas?

Pray and ask God to guide you. Will you fumble? Likely. Will you struggle? Maybe. Will God be with you? That's the question and we already know the answer. You may plant the seed, you may water it, but God gives the growth. Don't worry, he's got your back.
