When is there divine action when choosing or coming to the faith? I am not talking about coincidences or so-called answered prayers and so on, I mean supernatural occurrences. Because currently it seems to me that I decided all the apologetics for it was reasonable, the moral life asked by the religion non-objectionable, and then chose to live by it. If this is how people come to the faith, why would one not keep using this method, even if it takes you out of the faith?

The fact that you decided to come to Christ is supernatural on its own. You need help to come to Christ and follow Him. If it wasn't for God's helping hand, you would reject Him evem if He literally showed Himself to you (one of the reasons why people in hell can't repent)

Council of Trent: "If anyone says that without the inspiration and help of the Holy Ghost man can believe, hope, love or be penitent as he ought, so the grace of justification may be bestowed upon him, let him be anathema."
