I am the guy who asked how we know the gods are really demons. I'd like you to examine my hypothesis.

In Greek/ROman mythology Zeus/Juiptar (the semi god, because he did not create the Universe) says this: “What! That young Titan!” he cried. “Well, I will punish him in a way that will make him wish I had shut him up in the prison-house with his kinsfolk. But as for those puny men, let them keep their fire. I will make them ten times more miserable than they were before they had it.”

I believe this could very well be Satan's handiwork that is used to make modern people hate gods (including Yahweh/Jesus/The Holy Spirit[I don't know his Y name])

There is also Shiva. Shiva is a great symbol of bad stuff being for the greater good (as it commonly is) but it brings it to the fore front of the mind and I believe this very well could be Satan trying to make bad good.

I have nothing for Odin/Woten, but I don't doubt that there is one.

Penny for your thoughts?

I think the story of Prometheus May have the same root as that of Thor. It seems that the proto-Indo-Europeans (Babylonians?) believed that oak trees naturally had fire in them, and that lightning from their “thunderer” deity simply released it. So deity comes down -> gives fire.

The word demon derives from the Greek terminology, Daemon, used for lesser deities in ancient Greek mythology & gained it's negative connotation in the Septuagint translation of mid-300 BC. We also see in Jerome writing on Titus 1:12, that apart to Paul observation in Acts 17:23, the inscription tributes to unknown gods of Asia and Europe and Africa. It wouldn't surprise me on seeing why early Jews and Christians will find this heretical beyond belief as this would definitely leave room for Gods of blasphemous things such as human sacrifice which our earliest teachings taught as unacceptable. This isn't the only reason of course, but would kinda cover why any all Gods religion would be seen as evil, hence the demon word's derivation.

Incorrect. He was likely based on the legendary king Dan I, namesake of the Danes.

if what you're suggesting is

>pagan gods are actually fallen angels attempting to usurp God by each affecting the role of a deity, benevolent or otherwise

then you're absolutely right

But the Greek view of divine malevolence and frivolousness was an invented mechanism by which they upheld their own blamelessness, and so maintained their pride, even when subjected to the wrath of these gods. Offering an evil "other" that affirms your "innate good" tempts as many people away from Holiness as the honeyed promises of a false god, even in secular applications - a fact we sorely feel the effects of today.

Nimrod wasn’t omnipresent/omnipotent. He’s mentioned like once in the entire Bible. Go check the genealogies.
