Besides celebrated sodomy and widespread transgenderism. One of the first signs of a sick society about to collapse is widespread obesity and the celebration of being fat. Gluttony a seven deadly sin for a reason. I believe Dieting and exercise one of the first steps to salvation.

There is a reason why satan's minions tempted Israel with food and fornication in the book of Numbers. Food appeals to man's base desire to survive. What sucks is that all the super tasty food is bad for you while all the healthy food is forgetable. I've been going /fit/ for a while now and I miss cheesy pizza and burgers immensely, but I know in the long run my body will thank me for it.

Obesity is not a sin, it is the result of a sinful lifestyle. That's like saying that cirrhosis or AIDS is a sin.

It’s amazing how Monty Python would be considered hate speech by liberals now.

You don’t catch being fat. You’re not born 500 pounds either. Obesity is a choice, and comes from laziness and low impulse control.

Is the fact I'm picky about what food I eat is a sin? by that I mean I eat A Lot of meat but not many vegetable. Is it okay instead of changing what stuff I eat I try to make the stuff I do eat healthier. For example Instead of eating so much prepackaged foodstuff. I instead try to eat more of the same stuff but freshly made. like Bacon Egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches I can make at home with fresh ingredients instead of buying at McD's or at the store. Is it okay I have chicken in a fresh sandwich instead of being fried and still being delicious? I'm really curious and would like to know more

being overweight is already a sin so imagine obesity…
It's the sin of gluttony and slothness (too lazy to exercise, cock healthy food and practice a lot of sport to take care of your temple)

Side note: it's a useful sign to tell who is and who isn't virtuous. Fat people tend to have more vices and fit people tend to have more virtue.
Inb4 not all fat people
Gluttony is literally a deadly sin and fatness is the effect of gluttony. Being fat thus means having built a strong vice in the deadly sin of gluttony.

The point is that obesity is not a sin in itself, but rather a consequence of the deadly sin of gluttony.

Obesity is a state of being very overweight. Being in such a state is not a sin by itself. However, being obese is unhealthy, which both harms ourselves, and the common good of society by the strain the related health complications put on the medical system. So not avoiding obesity, not trying your best to not be overweight, is a sin, a violation of our duty to take care of the life God has given us, and a violation against charity, which necessarily seeks the common good of society. Obesity is also generally the result of gluttony, and a sedentary lifestyle, the latter of which is also unhealthy for body and mind.
