A few weeks ago learned that I may not have been baptized as a baby. Though I had though that I was, since my 3yrs older brother was. I was never confirmed (he was). As an adolescent/teenager we stopped going to church (only Christmas and Easter) and so it never really crossed my mind. We attended a Presbyterian Church, so we only did communion a few times a year.
I came back into the fold about 6 months ago, attending a Lutheran service, which has weekly communion. I had thought that I was baptized as a baby (why wouldn't I be?) and so participated in the Eucharist.
I will have to make sure that I wasn't baptized, but if not, how should I bring it up to the Pastor?

Bring it up with the pastor if your parents tell you that you were not baptized. Any pastor worth his salt should be understanding about this, he should also make arrangements for a baptism.

Thank you for your help. What would be the best way to ask about it, if I need to?

What you posted in >>816648 should be good. Just explain the story and such. Be sure to not partake in communion until this situation ends.

Were you Chrismated in the Lutheran Church before you took the Eucharist? I'm only aware that the ELCA is receptive with the presbyterians. If it's not an ELCA, you probably should consult with the priest about communion in general, beyond baptism.

No.
It's ELCIC; the church posts on its bulletin that all baptized Christians are welcome to partake.

The normal way, just go up and ask him. The shepherds are there for the benefit of the sheep. Ask your parents, and if there's any doubt, you can be baptized sub conditione just to be sure.

It is not your fault anon. The only thing to do now is learn and be more diligent. Talk to your parents, and tell the priest what happened. You did not do it out of malice or pride so your sin is small if you committed any at all but you must amend it.
