The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Yesterday I met the pastor for the first time and got some Bible teaching about baptism. He asked me if I want to get baptized (at the end the parish votes about it and it's not my decision) and if I prefer lake baptism or if I prefer to use the baptistery inside the church.

I told him that I'm going to ask the Lord about this, which I did today in the evening. I walked around the lake, spoke prayers multiple times asking what He wants me to do. But He didn't answer.

Finally at sunset, I got the inspiration to walk a small trail up a steep hill to get a better view on the lake. I ended up in front of a fence, looked back to the lake, but I still saw nothing, then I noticed another trail leading towards the sunset, which I never used before. It lead through pretty rough terrain into trees and scrubs, but I was curious, so I continued - soon after the sunset I'm going to stumble, tumble down the hill and end up dead inside a pitch-black forest I thought.

But after pressing through, I suddenly ended up in front the sheep-run, I pass by on my way from home to church. So I think I got my answer. Glory to the Lord!

I'm afraid I don't follow, which answer did you get, the lake or indoors?

otherwise though I'm happy for you, it's also goo to know that others enjoy seeking God while enjoying His creation. I'm a slight bit jealous that you have an interesting view on your walk to church every week!

>I'm afraid I don't follow, which answer did you get, the lake or indoors?

Well my primary question was baptize yes/no.

I got an answer, which I interpret as a Yes, as it would essentially be the path I could walk from church to the lake. I'm not so worried about interpreting the exact preference, as the Lord is usually going to confirm His choice later by giving another distinct sign.

>I'm a slight bit jealous that you have an interesting view on your walk to church every week!

It's a two mile walk with about one mile through fairy-tale grasslands on dirt trails. It's very nice in good weather and quite a stretch in bad one.

He does and He is not happy, if you don't follow His will.
