Do you believe the final judgment and eschaton are near? Within our lifetimes or shortly after possibly? I know we cannot know the day or the hour but the Bible does give us hints at what will occur shortly before the harvester comes to the harvest. Do you believe those prophecies are being fulfilled now?

You know, I can't help but think that we're in such times of craven apostasy now, where even most of those who claim to believe commit obvious heresy on the regular that we're in a time similar to when the Israelites were overtaken by the Babylonians

Meaning, it seems like we're in a time that is due a new covenant. But if Christ returned to us, would we even recognize him as such? What could he tell us that he never spoke of before?

Considering that there is no sense of time in afterlife as we perceive at least, for us it might seem to be almost directly after our death.

So yes, it is always close to us, since we dont know exactly when we will die, so always be prepared.
