The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I had a spiritual experience recently.

My aunt (who's still alive) came to me in a dream and transported me to Heaven. She showed me around the place, notably the place she said she "made". As an aside, I should say I was aware, even in the dream, that this was someone else taking the form of my aunt. She was dressed like an angel in one of those toga-like robes they wear.

I asked her a couple questions. First, I asked her if Heaven went forever or if it ended. She told me it ended and showed me the edge of Heaven. This part was really weird, because she showed me 'telepathically', i.e. I imagined something in my dream.

Then, at the end of the dream, I asked her "are you really telling me all those or am I just dreaming?" She replied, "a little bit of both."

This has really EFFED me up. I've been an atheist for ten years, but I'm certain this was a real message from a real being, that presumably would have told me if it didn't mean Heaven in a Christian sense.

I kind of just wanted to share, and I also want to ask where do you think I should go from here? To church (I'm confirmed Catholic already), should I pray more, etc. What do you think?

Praying should be a good start and the most important one actually.

Return to church, pray there… Open the Bible and re-read the gospel… Learn more about the doctrine and theology if you're the "intellectual type" (I recommand Denys the aeropagite https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Dionysius_the_Areopagite,_Works/On_Divine_Names especially the 4th chapter)

And of course, partake in the sacrament once you understand how important they are

The journey is endless so It's really up to you but start praying, that's the simpliest and greatest act than anyone can do… From the child to the sage

Welcome back.

the edge of heaven is an interesting concept BTW. It says it coexists with other things. The current universe, at the moment, for example. Or, well, other destinations.

Well for starters you should read your Bible and take it seriously
