I've heard stories that St Dominic knew this art because he prayed and our Lady wrote his sermons for him. If you can explain things and have a child understand and be pleased with your saying, you have mastered it. I don't have this kind of skill either though.

Pray. Pray without ceasing. Then pray some more. Pray all day. Sleep little, pray more. Ask for the Spirit to give you orders. Accept the order and obey it. If you don't obey it, don't ask again. Pray more. Pray constantly. Do not stop praying.

The Spirit will guide you. Be sure you listen. You might just find yourself called to marriage and family. Even if it's not what you want, obey. Obey with all of your being. And don't forget to pray.

Evangelizing is incredibly simple. You simply knock on someone's door and ask to share the gospel with them.

Of course that's not as grandiose and sexy as imagining yourself owning the atheists with your sermons and getting dramatically martyred for Christ.
