Mormons have an average birthrate of 3 children per household, the same as Muslims globally. Muslims are at a disadvantage due to their distance to the Mormon homeland, and the location of Utah in the mountains, however Muslims also have a larger homeland in the Middle East. Mormons don't have control of any country, but Muslims have control over many Middle Eastern & some Asian countries. With this in mind, Mormons are at a disadvantage but can persevere using their Rocky Mountain terrains.

I wouldn't be so sure. The a Mormon invasion is laughably unrealistic (not only do they lack manpower they are landlocked and couldn't reach the ME or Asia even if they tried). Realistically it would have to be a Muslim invasion and the rest of the 49 states (for some reason) wouldn't mind Saudi/Paki/Afghani/Dearborn and MiniSomalian ISIS troops in the US.

All the Muslims would have to do is cut off access points and make no-fly zones and just starve the Mormons out if the Mormons decided to flee to the moutains.

This is also assuming all mormons across the states were called back to Utah for this semi-holy war.

No nukes needed.

Most likely the Mormons would surrender to minamize casualties and mass convert all Mormons to Islam.
