The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I was listening to Right In Two by Tool earlier and if you haven't heard it before it's about angels wondering why God gave humans free will if they were going to commit atrocities and do terrible things to each other and defile His own creation. I highly recommend it.

Well I recently learned that the number 7 is considered a Godly/perfect number because it is the sum of 3 and 4. 3 is also a Godly number because of the Trinity, and many things come in trios, and thus are perfect. 4 however represents the physical world (4 seasons, 4 directions, 4 winds, 4 races) and in East Asian cultures it is symbolic of death, a worldly occurrence. So the marriage of these numbers makes 7, the perfect number.

I was thinking about the number 7 while listening to this song, "Cut it all, right in two". I remembered that 7/2 is 3.5. I hypothesize that 3.5 is a bastardized version of the number 7, it is only half of seven, yet it is neither the number 3 or 4. In a sense it is an imperfect number that represents the world humans have crafted with our free will.

Another thing I noticed is Revelation 13:5

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."

And 42 months is 3.5 years.

I always assumed that "right in two" was referring to Israel/Palestine dividing the holy land.

I thought 7 was a "lucky" number for superstitious reasons.

Same here, always had an attachment to it since childhood.

This is silly, OP. You’re reading far too deeply into these numbers.

>4 however represents the physical world (4 seasons, 4 directions, 4 winds, 4 races) and in East Asian cultures it is symbolic of death, a worldly occurrence.

4 has a place in Christian numerology, there's no need to go reaching for secular or heathen examples of 4 when Christianity already has it.

>4 Gospels

>4 categories of Old Testament books

>4 cardinal virtues

>4 major branches of Apostolic Christianity

>4 known archangels

>4 faces on a cherub

>4 living creatures (with 4 wings each)

>4 horsemen of the apocalypse

4 is related very closely to angels, visions, and prophecies in the Christian tradition.

I didn’t know the 4 seasons, directions, races, and phases of the moon were heathen concepts. And just because 4 has other meanings doesn’t mean the worldly aspect doesn’t apply to it

>secular or heathen

>reading comprehension

The meanings you personally derive from the seasons are secular. The meanings Chinese mythology assigns are heathen. Moreover, the meanings Christianity assigns override both, especially when we're talking within the framework of Christian numerology.

God created the Earth correct?

Indeed He did. But your interpretation of 4 based on worldly observations isn't supported by Scripture or any Christian traditions, and is therefore secular. 4 is actually a Heavenly number, not a worldly one.

Sure, symbols can have multiple meanings. For example, 4 can mean worldly things in your personal occult numerology, even though 4 means Heavenly things in Christian numerology.

This is literally the most fu cking retarded thing I have ever read in my life. I can't even I'm in tears right now.
