The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

At what point does someone become irredeemable? Short of taking the mark of the beast, is it ever too late for a man to redeem himself?

Active and persistent hostility to the Holy Spirit calling a person, to the point of calling it evil or becoming enemies.. such as the Pharisees did to Jesus. This is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (which overly scrupulous folks aren't guilty of btw.. far from it).

As long as it's genuine contrition and not faithless recitation of words it's never too late.

The deeper into leftism and sexual depravity one goes the more their heart hardens. Hardcore communists, trannies, and homosexuals are lost.

So I take it with God only some things are possible, right?

>is it ever too late for a man to redeem himself?

Yes, from the moment Adam ate of the fruit.

>Is it ever too late for God to redeem man?

No, because with God all things are possible, but tbh tons of people give no indication of being redeemable.

I think what you're really wondering is at what point does one become a reprobate. Only God knows.

Definition of reprobation:

God's eternal resolve to exclude certain rational creatures from eternal happiness. As taught by the Church, God has eternally predestined certain persons, on account of their sins, to rejection from heaven. Always understood is that God wants all human beings to be saved, but he does not wish to save those who, by their abuse of divine grace, freely separate themselves from his love. (Etym. Latin reprobare, to reject, condemn.)

Intrinsically impossible propositions are not things, they are nonentities. Reprobates cannot be saved because they absolutely do not want to be saved. God can't force them to be saved without taking away their free choice to not be saved. What you're proposing here is that God can grant men free will while also denying them free will; this is not a statement about what God can and cannot do, it's only nonsense with the words "God can" appended at the beginning. You might as sit here and say, "God can really been so far as to use even go want to do look more like," it would mean approximately the same thing.
