God knows what's in your heart. If you intended to do evil but ended up doing a good for example, you break into the house of an old lady intending to rob her. You break her window and it sets off a loud alarm. You flee as to not get caught. The twist is that you attempting to rob her, saves her because there was a gas leak that caused her to pass out and breaking the window allowed fresh air to help her regain consciousness and the alarm sent authorities to help her as well. or you mask evil deeds by doing good like funneling your illgotten drug money into a charity that helps feed orphan children God will know and judge accordingly. Our God is a God of Justice, and if you commit evil you will be punished accordingly.

For an act to be deemed good in the eyes of the Lord it must be

1)In accordance with God's will

2)done with the intent of doing god's will

So while the intent is important to sacralize the action… The action itself must be approved by God and especially its logical results.

This is why the left and humanists aren't doing "good" by any means even if they have good intentions… Because they're doing evil.

And this is why satan will be punished… Because even if his actions ultimately serve God's plan… he's not doing them to serve God.
