The only thing I find fascinating is this Lady wanted to consecrate Russia. And now Russia is rediscovering her Orthodox roots. Is this what she wanted? To become an even stronger bulwark against the West? I'm all for it then.

If you read more into it, Sister Lucia said the consecration wasn't good enough as not enough people participated it. What's happening in Russia is not necessarily because of the apparition, but because with the end of Communism and people returning to Church. Russia is better than the West, but it sure as hell isn't going to save it.
