The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Thousands of hours of work go into producing a feature-length film and many obstacles crop up along the way. This video covers some of the time spent filming in Jordan to capture biblical scenes of the Israelites during the Exodus journey. We look forward to its release and sharing the journey of exploring evidence for Moses’ ability to write the Torah as the Bible claims – something that is rejected by mainstream scholars. We hope to see you in theaters across America this March. Keep Thinking!

I loved Patterns of Evidence (just finally purchased a dvd actually).

Oh I've seen it. Pretty much have scoured all I could for Rohl videos (unfortunately, there aren't enough).

Nice, I was wondering when this film would be out, since he mentions the exodus was his real objective before he filmed patterns of evidence

How do you deal with early OT doubts as a Christian? Things like the beginning of Genesis, and then the historicity of Exodus to Deuteronomy really shake my faith sometimes

Stop having such pictures on your computer for starters, then either trust God and His Magisterium or find out by reading a book.

I take Genesis as a poetic metaphor.

Had huge skepticism about Exodus, but with Patters of Evidence and info about Mount Sinai hidden in Saudi Arabia, I'm beginning to believe.

Don't have any problem with Deuturonomy.

My main clicks right now is how to understand who or what is Adam, a real figure or a metaphor for the entire humanity before Christ.

Also the story of Abraham and his family gives me fodder for thought, but not really anything I'd have major doubts in my faith.

In the end, I still believe Christ was God who came in flesh and then came back from death.

I believe the same composite has been used in other movies also like Troy for example.

As for biblical media, I've recently come to suppose that something along the lines of masterfully illustrated series, perhaps VNs with audio narratives and dialogue could come to be greatly appreciated. As with other types of media, I believe such could also come about to the greatest satisfaction of viewers through a crowd sourced community effort as opposed to the ordinary private commercially motivated endeavors.

Indeed. I don't think Christians have fully taken advantage of this format.. despite it being around almost a hundred years now (or games/interactivity). I mean, not compared to the written word or paintings and icons.

Archeologists used to be adamant that Ur was a mythical city, and then they found it. Nothing in the OT worries me.
