I think this guy is reading a bit too far into it.
He especially focuses on the "a-hole" old white guy but the ironic part is almost everything that guy said was technically correct. (Which he does go over a little in the video)

Literally everything he said was correct. (Albeit morally wrong but it was the apocalypse)
