The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

He was using a classic Jesus misdirection to point out the evil of the Pharisees. Read: "they plotted how they might trap him"

He answered in such a way to not incriminate himself against the Roman state, but the theological answer is NO. It is not lawful to give offerings to caesar, by suggestion he says everything is God's.

The solution would be to stop using Caesar's currency.

Exactly. It's more about the pharisees than Caesar.

If you can legally get away with it, sure. If you legally can't, than don't. Can't owe Ceaser his taxes if you use none of his money/services.

Good luck.

This passage is being posted around like crazy lately, what is this tendency?

But I think the message is clear, the monetary establishment is something men made, if you're living under the game you should play the rules. But be aware of what money really is, just a means of currency trading, we can't escape it in the modern world, but you shouldn't value it for more than it is, real wealth is on the spirit and on what you can offer to humanity.
