Revelation is a deeply symbolic text. It's not meant to be understood by plain reason but you must be well versed by its language.
Revelation is non linear, and some passages refers to the individual judgment of the soul (the first resurrection) while others talk about the last judgement of all mankind (the descend of the celestial Jerusalem) and some seem to refer to events that already happened or might happen (the fall of satan on earth) or both
It's okay if you don't get everything. Just remember a few key points :
>God will reject the lukewarm (3:16)
>satan will bring the antechrist to falsely unite mankind (13:11) the antechrist can be both a system or an individual incarning it
>Christ will come back on earth to destroy darkness once and for all (19:11)
>Everybody will be resurrected and judged according to their deeds, and the chosen ones will inherit the new earth and Jerusalem (20:11)
>Creation will be made anew (the 21st chapter of revelation… following the 22nd)

>Revalation when looked at correctly should tug on your heart strings, and a melody of faith will entrench into your soul. It's very reaffirming.
Basically this.
