Is it worth reading? I am considering asking for it for Christmas as it is within the price range in my country we give each other presents at small Christmas Eves hosted at our schools but I am not going to start a Christian commune any time soon, so if I'm not going to use it in my everyday life, then I'm better off asking for "Ascent of Mount Carmel" or something like this.
Of course, I know that "Ascent of Mount Carmel" is much more better for spiritual development, however I'm going to buy it anyway, while "The Benedict option" is more expensive so there's a chance that if I don't ask for it now, I'm going to skip on it.
So the question isn't if it's the best choice, but if it's worth my time at all
