Lord, the stars declare your glory. Your power has overcome addictions and ended wars. We praise your almighty and wonderful name. Amen.

Father, I thank you that I awoke in my right mind this morning, that I was free from darkness and able to see the beauty of your creation clearly. Thank you that my mother and father are still alive, and for the wonderful childhood memories I have.
