I understand we each have to protect the "true doctrine" and so forth, but why do people have to be so defensive about worshiping God in other Christian churches? You don't have to believe all our dogma, just come over and praise Him.

Don't you see the insanity of this statement? You're saying that Truth, that the truth of who God is, what His Church is, what Faith is, is unimportant. In effect, you're saying that there is no such thing as truth. Dogma is dogmatic because it is eternal truth, not opinion.
