All I see on this board is vitriol from all directions and people who seem to have their priorities completely mixed up. No one seems to care about what they can do to make themselves a better Christian, but what they can do to accuse others of not being good enough Christians. It’s essentially putting the cart before the horse.

So, if you’re reading this, stop browsing this board. Continue being Christian, going to church, praying, etc etc. But do it in silence- do it with the absence of social media. With the absence of mindless LARPing and posturing. For at least until the new year, if not as long as humanly possible.

Would you be able to? Would you still be a Christian if it weren’t for internet brownie points? You’ve got a good deal of introspection to do if not.

This might've been true 10 years ago but with the ongoing growth of internet users, the internet is only going to get dumbed down even more. It isn't the same it was before. One example is this board. I'd say the "golden year" of this board was 2016. Lots of good threads. But anons on here thought it was a good idea to link this board on halfchan and reddit and now here we are.

The constant negativity one finds on the internet isn't healthy for you in the long run anyways. People were getting redpilled during the days before the internet via books, casettes and seminars. If you're smart, you'll find information you're looking for. It's [current year] yet loads of people are still very misinformed.

If you're not going to stop using social media, use it for good. Spread the good word of God to as many people as you can reach, even if you only reach one person. That one person is another soul saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. If you do quit social media, spread the word of God in your daily life. Don't shy away from judgements of your secular peers, be bold as lion. Philippians 4:13. Show the world how much God loves it.

Done that a long time ago, brother. Someone made an faceburg account and gave it to me because I was stubborn in using that to "communicate". Nothing but chaos, vitriol, vainglory, and despair that pushed me to the edge of suicide right before our Lord calls me back. There is no truth in the paradigms of ones and zeros, in the ephemeral digital world; but our Lord is the Truth.

As of now, I am pretty sure that the social media is the filthiest and deepest spiritual shithole ever made.
