Ignore them, it's only sinful if you linger on the thoughts and fantasize.

I can’t believe no one in here has recommended some level of discernment. If you’re dreaming about being a knight slaying dragons and literal npcs that’s fine. But if you’re fantasizing about killing someone for personally wronging you that’s sinful and you will pay for that in the afterlife just for entertaining it.

This, context is everything. A lot of good is done through violence as evil isn't going to just lose the debate and say "aw shucks, guess i'm done". at the end of the day it is going to boil down to what God said in Genesis concerning Satan: "He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

But if you're having violent thoughts against the innocent, against those whom trespassed over you, then you have to identity it and pray that God might take it away from you. Also confess it to someone as that helps a ton with moderating bad thoughts.

There's a difference between revengeful heat of the moment anger and righteous anger. It's pretty obvious the world needs cleansing fire more than ever, and sometimes it's amusing to hope that you're what Genghis Khan called himself - the Judgement of God. Basically, to hope that you get to be God's appointed Judge Dredd.

But don't dwell on it too much.
