When somebody has faith hidden, just under the surface, what is it called? For example, a person with no faith in God praying so that he may gain faith, how does this happen. It is like the belief in results without faith in the means that you gain them, it doesn't make sense. Yet, it seems pretty typical. I have a theory that most people who confess to have no faith in reality do, but can not understand, nor acknowledge it for whatever reason.
