There is no need for blood sacrifices because Christ was the ultimate sacrifice. By circumcising yourself, you are inadvertently denying the cross. Your foreskin is fine, pull it back for several seconds when you shower to clean it. The same goes for your teeth, you wouldn't pull them all out just to avoid basic hygiene would you?

I would say that thats a good argument alongside the general discomfort it causes

Besides, we dont have water supply problems like Jews had in old days and can shower daily, so it isnt necessary. The heretical part, however, comes if one states that circumcision is a necessary part for salvation, which is Judaizing.

and I don't recommend it in this age, but it is 'as nothing' according to God. Demonizing it is wrong for Christians because it means demonizing God who instituted it. Just as vegans can produce tons of studies showing milk is supposedly terrible for you even though your health isn't their real motivation, anti-circumcision activists collect as much as they can that makes circumcision seem horrible, but their motivation is often hostility to religion or to Jews.

I disagree. Circumcision was institute in a certain place and a certain time by our Lord to, through whatever means unfathomable, ensure the birth of our Lord and Savior. From the time of his ressurrection it has been pointless and now only carries the medical downsides and, as Paul states, the burden of the whole law that even the Hebrews were unable to keep.

Maybe the reason the Jews are so winne-the-poohed up is because they're under the full burden of the law without a temple or even understanding the law correctly.

Don't circumcise. There are spiritual and medical downsides and the covenant with God is no longer of the flesh.
