Everybody sins, Anon. Letting it prevent a relationship with God and his community is letting sin have victory over you.
And in regards to hypocrisy. Think of addiction. When people go to recover, they are mentored by fellow addicts because they also know this struggle.
Perhaps you, me, or the accuser would feel less terrible by repenting to our brothers and sharing our experience.
t. Masturbates a decreasing amount. I've gotten past the habit barrier, and the last one was just poor willpower in the face of temptation. I've thought about praying for strength in this matter, but am frankly shamed to bring this petition.
I also live with an agnostic, but that's a whole other level of complexity. No sex though, so there's that blessing in disguise.
