Is the church in the bible a physical building or an assembly, is the image false? If one side is right why doesn't the opposition acknowledge it?

I don't know the verses bit there's a verse in the OT that says either assembly or congregatio (don't remeber which) and is qouted in the NT as church

The best way to translate ecclesía would be as convocation. Aramaean usages would have had something relative to their word for "synagogue". So the Bible seems to refer to both as a kind of assembly or gathering but with different words rather than as specific religious places of worship.

1577 ekklēsía(from 1537 /ek, "out from and to" and 2564 /kaléō, "to call") – properly, people called out from the world and to God, the outcome being the Church (the mystical body of Christ) – i.e. the universal (total) body of believers whom God calls out from the world and into His eternal kingdom.

[The English word "church" comes from the Greek word kyriakos, "belonging to the Lord" (kyrios).
