I made a user script for people who do not want to see pornographic advertisements on the main page and any other board. The only exception is banners but I will continue to remove all instances of inappropriate images on this site.

To use the script install "Tampermonkey" for Firefox, or "Greasemonkey" for Chrome. Next, go to (https://github.com/Druw2000/src/tree/master/scripts/delete-ads) and copy the contents of one".user.js" file. After that, click your extension's icon in the top right, click add script, and paste the contents of the file. Find "save," and do the previous steps for the other script. Your browser still connects to thesite which is hosting the images. The ony way I could stop this would be very intrusive and complex so I didnt try to create it. I assure you it isnt a botent. You can ask someone on the internet to check the integrity of my statement if you are worried. It is only 8 or so lines of Javascript which runs on a trusted open source script manager so I would trust it. If you are still worried ask around online and others will say there is nothing to worry about.

What pornographic advertisements? I can see that this has removed the top banner but that's the only change I see. What other advertisements does 8chan have other than the banner?

They can be removed but I have to add that to the code. I wrote this in 30 minutes last night so it is nowhere close to the full functionality, but it serves a purpose for the time.
