I've watched maybe 70-80 sermons of his, I really like his style.
However, there are certain warning signs that began to appear to me early on, which I just ignored at first. The obvious one: he's very angry all the time, for seemingly no reason ("Vitamin K!!!!!") and speaks on every little doctrine with an absolute certainty which leaves no room for correction.
More recently I've seen him slander former church members, one of which made a series of lengthy videos proving that PA lied about him (Victor Tey). He also slandered a really wonderful, godly man: Pastor Jeff Durbin, calling him a "pervert", "dog", "drunkard". Durbin made a series of videos proving Anderson lied about him. In both cases, PA made response videos refusing to back down or apologize, and his flippant attitude seemed to be an avoidance strategy. I mean, he dedicated entire sermons to these topics, but now he can't be bothered to take the rebuttal seriously?
After realizing I had been taken in by a cult, I analyzed why I had been so magnetically attracted to this preaching style, and in honesty, it's because I'm an angry, angry person with issues, and I felt resonance with his rageful spirit. And when I look around at the comment sections of his videos, and observing the behavior of people in his church, they tend to be… dark. And I'm not referring to the black dude who always sits at the front, but their sense of humor. They'll cackle at the thought of someone burning in hell, and other jarring behavior. Though I remember, I did chortle throughout his lambastings of sodomites, so I'm just as bad.
Oh and I forgot to mention the biggest problem; the core of his doctrine, KJV-Onlyism, is not viable. It would be nice to think, hey, we have this perfectly translated book that is pure and good, especially as protestants in lieu of a central church, but Dr. James White has permanently sunk that ship.
All in all, there are truths mixed with lies in his preaching, and I believe most of his appeal is based on a cult of personality.
