Games can be casual entertainment, but hentai games for instance are obviously a big no.
All I can say is that before I converted few years ago I played Katawa Shoujo (with the explicit scenes, but these can be turned off).
I was only a christian in name, had fornicated already, no planning on going to church anytime soon either.
But I tell you one thing; once I finished that game I stopped fapping for a whole month and I didn't even notice it until after 3 weeks.
Sadly I started again by myself because some videos and posts of (((doctors))) feared me into it claiming that it was healthy to do it, so it might've been unhealthy not too.

I would avoid games that glorify demons or have you ally with demons, like the Shin Megami Tensei series, which is basically playing pokemon in hell.
Personally I'm playing Zelda: Link Between worlds, Etrian Odyssey 4, Mega Man legacy collection and sometimes I go back to Monster hunter 4U, having a lot of fun, and the content is christian friendly.

my idea for a /christian/ vn:
plot/setting:
in the year 20xx, the newly established world government declares Christianity to be a mental virus. its charter prevents them from sanctioning the execution of all Christians, so instead, they're rounded up and exiled to an island colony in the pacific. the island is large, and already had state of the art facilities for housing, medicine, and schooling built on it. it was originally built by and for the Chinese, but due to a low birth rate crisis, no one ever ended up living there. the colony thrives under Christian stewardship.
you play as a new arrival, a college freshman. a year earlier, you found a hidden cache of Christian literature in the wall of your basement. though you only have a very basic unrefined understanding of Christianity after reading it, you were very convinced of it. that's what the tests showed after your arrest and subsequent interrogation. You continue your college education on the island, finding romance/friendship along the way.
characters:
classmate clique 1:
evangelina (baptist): very plain-spoken and direct, passionate
penti (pentecostal): very energetic, talks a lot
refora (reformed): full of cybernetic implants/protesthetics, brain is part robot
classmate clique 2:
cathy (catholic): very stuck up and bossy, likes to take charge
iyo ([E.O.] eastern orthodox): always carries around a stuffed bear, cathy's best friend
angli (anglican): does everything cathy says, but still tries to retain her independence
as you form a relationship with one the girls, you learn more about their theology, but it's done in way where it makes sense and flows with their storylines. toward the end of their storylines you convert to one of their denominations and there will be a hand-holding CG scene.

I believe it is okay to play video games. The biggest lie is about the violence. Especially since you see violence in sports, movies, tv shows, and the news. There is violent content in the bible, so in my view complaining about violence in forms of media, especially in video games, is hypocritical. The better way to look at the violence is why use it? Is it for the sake of cheap shock value like in Rick and Morty, or is there a logical back story to it?
But, the most important thing to look about is the message and the propaganda, what is hidden between the lies. Best example is with the Assassin's Creed series painting Karl Marx as a pacifist hero and portraying Christians in a very negative light. This was happening in Far Cry 5, where they portray conservative Christians as "evil raysist white men!" until they changed some of that content in response to the low sales of Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, but the undertones and underlying message remains.
Obviously I don't have to tell you to not buy these games and support these companies, since you are funding anti-Christian propaganda and SJWs if you do. If you really want to see the game, luckily there is YouTube and Adblockers for that.
Just remember to not attack the medium as a whole. A lot of (((Christian Nutjobs))) in the 90's and early 2000's (like Jack Thompson) were scaring people away from Christianity by coming off as nut jobs. Doing this does a lot more damage to Christianity than any video game would ever do.

Make the lewdest scenes with every girl one where they (finally) kiss or even hold hands, feature a church nearby in the art, make it clear that on sunday you/others went to mass before anything else happens, maybe even add a priest you can talk to for counseling or something.
If we're going to force christianity in it it will definitely feel forced and overwhelmingly religious (especially if we're going to add dozens of denominations) and nobody will play it.
