This Christmas season I have a good amount of "holiday bonus" money left over after buying presents that I have little use for and I considered donating it. Is pic related a good Christian charity? If not, anything else worth putting my dollar towards? I'm awfully cautious about charity organizations since a good amount of them are outed to be frauds. So in the worst case scenario I might just directly donate to my local parish, but suggestions would be great.

The best charities are the ones you personally do. Buy some food and give to some poor family in need as an anonymous deliveryman. It will give you the most spiritual growth.

St Jude is good.

You might also ask your priest who is the best for a cause you care about, if you want to give locally. Eg if homelessness, well, your priest has likely worked will all the big local charities.

this is probably true, if the goal is to promote personal spiritual growth.

but i think charity-wise, you would make a bigger dent in the suffering of this world by helping support these doctors discover more cures and help save the lives of children, which they do free of charge to the parents and the children thanks to the contributions they receive.
