I'm sorry, but reading through what you posted just shows the low quality of the Qur'an. We have quite a few ex-Muslims here and they almost always say the same thing after converting to Christianity and reading the Bible: they finally get the full picture of the teachings, stories and messages after their apostasy from Islam. I own a copy of a Qur'an (was given one by a Muslim) and when I read it, it simply feels like a fan-fiction that was written about the Bible. You have to fill in all the details and blatant errors in the Qur'an with Christian teachings for it to make sense.

A recent example I came across was Mary just walking out into the desert and walking back with Jesus.

Come on, now.

I don't blame illiterate Muslims from deep in the deserts of Africa/Levant or from the jungles of southeast Asia to fall for these stories (which are told to them by their imams/sheikhs since the Qur'an is usually only in Arabic and most Muslims never even read it in their lifetime), but the Muslims around here seem educated.

One of the main arguments Muslims love to throw out onto the table to desperately to prove the prophethood of Muhammad is that he predicted science that the world did not know before that and this surely proved him to have divine revelations. A lot of the science in the Qur'an was stolen from the Greeks, from embryology to the origins of life being related to water.

There's so much to take apart in Islam.
