>..Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
God is omnipresent, and He is always there for us. Sometimes, though, He may feel far away. In these times, we need to remember that the Apostle Paul instructs us as Christians to pray without ceasing. For what else but prayer brings us close to God? He, in His infinite mercy, desires to have us speak and be close with Him. In the words of the wonderworker St. John of Kronstadt:
>Do not spare yourself from heartfelt prayer even when you have spent the whole day in hard work. Do not indulge in laziness when you pray; tell God everything that is in your heart. If you allow yourself time to pray with diligence, you will not fall asleep before you have wept over your sins. Believe that, if for the sake of bodily rest you pray hurriedly, you will lose the tranquility of both body and soul. By what labor, sweat and tears is our closeness to God achieved!
Prayer is something we should do all the time, not just in church. God loves you, anon. All you need to do is keep speaking to Him, even if it feels hard.
